Addressmatch is powered by the MatchingObjects™ data matching toolset. Addressmatch provides leading edge customer related data matching services that deliver accurate customer information, across the extended enterprise alongside the ability to de-duplicate customer records and to group and segment customers intelligently.

Addressmatch allows you to submit one or more data files, configure your matching requirements, and receive the matching output to your own secure Addressmatch user area.

The Addressmatch service is managed by Tarn Technologies's data matching specialists and delivers high quality customer related data matching driven by the key components of the MatchingObjects™ toolset:

• Comprehensive country specific reference data (currently UK, Ireland, and USA)
• Data equivalents e.g. James/Jim/Jimmie all represent the same forename, and Southhampton and Soton represent the same town.
• Phonetic matching e.g. Conolly = Connelly
• Language equivalent matching e.g. Muinebeag(Gaelic spelling) and Bagenalstown(English spelling) represent the same town.

Customer Related Data Matching
At the core of the Addressmatch service is the ability to match customer related records from single or multiple data files, using a configurable set of rules to determine the matching criteria according to your needs. Whether you need to de-duplicate multiple representations of the same customer in a single data file, or need to profile a single view of your customer across multiple data files, Addressmatch data matching provides the platform you need.

As a registered Addressmatch user you will be able to utilise this customer related data matching service technology by selecting one of the following services:

De-Duplication
Having matched records across your data file(s) according to your Add Job set-up, the de-duplication service will assess each of the records matched together to determine which records should be suppressed. Records can be de-duplicated on the basis of their source, by date, or by the quality of their address.

Profiling
Records from your data file(s) are matched according to your Add Job set up. Within this Add Job set-up you can select one or more Group Types, for example, Individual, Family, Household. Addressmatch will generate matches that will profile your data file(s) against these Group Types, allowing you to construct a profile of your customers based upon, for example, a household address.

Data Confidentiality is a vital component of Addressmatch. Tarn Technologies fully adhere to the Data Protection Act. As a registered Addressmatch user you can view and download a standard Non-Disclosure Agreement(NDA). If required you can submit this NDA to Tarn Technologies and request Tarn Technologies to be a signatory.
